Does this law give a judge the right to forego Due Process? I entered a Motion for Summary Judgment. Hearing was set. I subpoenaed the attorney because he was nothing but a liar and cheat and would not show on his own accord. Though he was ordered by the court to be there, he did NOT show and the court changed the hearing from arguable to nonarguable! Then the judge ordered me to close pleadings and I refused. I motioned to have the hearing. There was no point in reclaiming, for the default was on the court, not me. They are crooks in this courthouse in New Haven. The case sat there for 6 years. I was the only one pleading - three pages. and the judge gets his jollies by dismissing it for this crooked attorney. Wonder why there are so many murders in this city? Yet the local TV station CLAIMS it was marked as the best place to raise kids!
