  • Appellate: About appeals; an appellate court has the power to review the judgement of another lower court or tribunal.
     The circuit court shall hear and determine contests of the election of judges of the Supreme Court, judges of the appellate court, clerk of the Supreme Court, and judges of the circuit court, but no judge of the circuit court shall sit upon the hearing of any case in which he is a party.
