  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     A motor carrier shall not operate or cause to be operated a commercial motor vehicle upon the highways of this State with a revoked motor fuel use tax license. Any person who operates a commercial motor vehicle with a revoked motor fuel use tax license is guilty of a petty offense as provided in Section 13a.6 of the Motor Fuel Tax Law. When a commercial motor vehicle is found to be operating in Illinois with a revoked motor fuel use tax license, the vehicle shall be placed out of service and not allowed to operate in Illinois until the motor fuel use tax license is reinstated.
