Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 625 ILCS 5/18d-180

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
     The provisions of this Chapter apply to all the activities of safety relocators in any jurisdiction to which Chapter 18a of this Code applies in accordance with Section 18a-700.
