Bob Magelitz: ...
I had a root canal and then the tooth was ground down to a post for a crown. A temporary crown was put on. The dentist said be that the temp crown could come off. Two days later it breaks off eating a chips ahoy cookie and the dentist has to put a post in and puts the temporary tooth back in. I then get a bill for an additional $300. How can I be charged extra when its his fault that a relatively soft cookie could make this tooth come off that he just worked on 2 days prior especially when it is the same tooth that he is already charging me for an expensive crown?
