Indiana Code 25-19-1-11. Necessity of license; violations; health facility administrators; prohibited practices; standards of practice
(b) An individual who is not licensed as a health facility administrator may not:

- health facility: means any institution or facility defined as such for licensing under IC 16-28 and classified into care categories by rules adopted under IC 16-28. See Indiana Code 25-19-1-1
- health facility administrator: means a natural person who administers, manages, supervises, or is in general administrative charge of a licensed health facility whether such individual has an ownership interest in the health facility and whether the person's functions and duties are shared with one (1) or more individuals. See Indiana Code 25-19-1-1
- Judgment: means all final orders, decrees, and determinations in an action and all orders upon which executions may issue. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(2) use the title “health facility administrator” or “assistant health facility administrator”;
(3) use the initials “H.F.A.” or any other words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating or implying that the individual is a health facility administrator or assistant health facility administrator licensed under this article;
unless the individual is licensed as a health facility administrator under this article.
(c) A licensed health facility administrator may not practice health facility administration in more than one (1) health facility at the same time.
(d) A health facility administrator is subject to the health professions standards of practice under IC 25-1-9.
