Sec. 23. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the board shall approve an application to be a sponsor if a person files an application with the board at least thirty (30) days before the date the continuing education program is scheduled to commence.
(c) Approval as a sponsor under this section is valid for one (1) year and expires on January 31 of each year.
(b) The board may approve an application that does not meet the thirty (30) day requirement described in subsection (a) due to extenuating circumstances, as determined by the board on a case by case basis.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 25-19-1-23
- board: refers to the Indiana state board of health facility administrators. See Indiana Code 25-19-1-1
- sponsor: means a sponsor of continuing education programs for health facility administrators. See Indiana Code 25-19-1-1
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
