Terms Used In Indiana Code 28-6.1-18-6

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
   Sec. 6. After the filing of the action under section 5 of this chapter, the court has jurisdiction to hear and determine all issues and matters relating to the liquidation of the savings bank.
