Terms Used In Iowa Code 148B.7
- License: means a license issued by the state under this chapter to a hearing aid specialist. See Iowa Code 154A.1
- Occupational therapy: includes but is not limited to providing assessment, design, fabrication, application, and fitting of selected orthotic devices and training in the use of prosthetic devices. See Iowa Code 148B.2
- State: means a state, territory, or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. See Iowa Code 152E.3
The board shall adopt rules relating to professional conduct to carry out the policy of this chapter, including but not limited to rules relating to professional licensing and to the establishment of ethical standards of practice for persons holding a license to practice occupational therapy in this state.
