Terms Used In Iowa Code 185.19

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Promotional order: means an order administered pursuant to this chapter which establishes a program for the promotion, research, and market development of soybeans and provides for a state assessment to finance the program. See Iowa Code 185.1
 The ballots shall constitute conclusive evidence as to the validity of the promotional order.
