- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
542B.1 Licensed professional engineers and surveyors.
A person shall not engage in the practice of engineering or land surveying in the state
unless the person is a licensed professional engineer or a licensed professional land surveyor as provided in this chapter, except as permitted by § 542B.26.
