Terms Used In Iowa Code 680.8

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
680.8 Nonapplicability.
The provisions of § 680.7 shall not apply to the receivership of state banks, as defined in § 524.105, trust companies, or private banks. In addition, in the receivership of such state banks and trust companies, or private banks, no preference or priority shall be allowed as is provided in § 680.7 except for labor or wage claims as provided by statute.
