Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 19-2240
- Person: means any individual, corporation, partnership, association or other entity. See Kansas Statutes 19-2232
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
Any person who transacts a transient business in this state without having first obtained a license in accordance with the provisions of this act or who knowingly advertises, offers for sale or sells any goods, wares, merchandise or services in violation of the provisions of this act is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
