Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 19-4710

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Complaint: means a sworn written statement, or a written statement by a law enforcement officer or code enforcement officer, of the essential facts constituting a violation of a county code or resolution. See Kansas Statutes 19-4708

A complaint shall be in writing and shall be signed by the complainant. More than one violation may be charged in the same complaint. A complaint shall be deemed sufficient if in substantial compliance with the form set forth by the judicial council.
