Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 45-315

  • Legislative session: That part of a chamber's daily session in which it considers legislative business (bills, resolutions, and actions related thereto).
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

After the sine die adjournment of each legislative session, the state printer and the secretary of state shall complete preparation and printing of at least a limited number of each volume of the session laws for publication on or before July 1 of such year. The state printer shall thereafter, as rapidly as practicable, print and deliver to the secretary of state bound copies as provided by law.
