  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.

Any person who violates or fails to comply with the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), or by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year in the county jail, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
