Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 60-4124

  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

(a) The provisions of this act shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform law with respect to the subject of this act among states enacting the act.

(b) The attorney general is authorized to enter into reciprocal agreements with the attorney general or chief prosecuting attorney of any state to effectuate the purposes of this act.

(c) The provisions of this act shall apply when the act or acts giving rise to forfeiture occur after the effective date of this act.
