  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.

In cases where the county treasurer or sheriff shall by injunction be restrained from the collection of taxes due upon personal property, and the injunction be dissolved, the county treasurer or sheriff shall collect the original taxes and penalties, with interest from the date of the injunction at the rate prescribed by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 79-2004a, and amendments thereto.
