Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 9:3426
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
A foreign partnership duly registered under this Chapter shall amend its filings in this state to reflect changes in its certificate of partnership by complying with La. Rev. Stat. 9:3422(A). Until the registration form is filed for registry, such changes or amendments shall not be effective as to third persons.
