  • Authority: means a base conversion authority as provided for in this act. See Michigan Laws 3.551
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
   Before February 1 in each year, the authority shall file an annual report with the governor, the legislature, and a township board of trustees having jurisdiction, setting forth its activities, receipts, expenditures, business considered, meetings, and progress during the immediately preceding year ending December 31.
