LawServer I have a social media question..I recently placed an ad on a dating website. I placed the ad at home on my computer. I did not mention any aspects of my employer what so ever. The licensing agency (Michigan Gaming Control Board) that regulates my employer (Motorcity Casino) found the ad made me surrender my license. My employer had to fire me , even though I was an outstanding employee. During the interview with the licensing person, he stated if I tried to appeal they tell my wife and even charge me with a felony, which I dont believe they have the jurisdiction to make such a comment-threat. I was also denied unemployment because it was determined I voluntarily quit! Can anybody please help?
