- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
14. Every owner or registrant of an automobile or autocycle registered or principally garaged in this State shall maintain uninsured motorist coverage as provided in P.L.1968, c.385 (C. 17:28-1.1).
