Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 143A-55.1

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. The North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Council, as created by Chapter 17A of the N.C. Gen. Stat. and laws of this State, is hereby transferred by a Type II transfer to the Department of Justice. (1975, c. 372, s. 1.)
