  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. It shall be the responsibility of the State chairman of each political party, qualified under the laws of this State, to notify his party’s national committee no later than January 30 of each year in which such presidential preference primary shall be conducted of the provisions contained under this Article.
