- Appraisal: A determination of property value.
If any animal be killed by the order of the State Veterinarian or an assistant of his for the sole reason that it has been exposed to contagion or infection, the provisions of §§ 47-13-390 and 47-13-400 as to autopsy, appraisal and payment shall apply except that no protest need be filed.
