South Dakota Codified Laws 22-30-7. Felony classes of robbery

Robbery in the first degree is a Class 2 felony. Robbery in the second degree is a Class 4 felony.

Under the South Dakota Laws, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Class 2 felony	up to 25 years	up to $50,000
Class 4 felony	up to 10 years	up to $20,000
