Terms Used In Tennessee Code 33-4-210

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.

An employee who attempts to coerce a legal guardian, conservator, or trustee serving under this part to take any particular action as legal guardian, conservator, or trustee shall be dismissed.
