Terms Used In Texas Utilities Code 55.006
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A public utility may not:
(1) discriminate against a person who sells or leases equipment or performs services in competition with the public utility; or
(2) engage in a practice that tends to restrict or impair that competition.
