Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 194.10
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Private motor carrier: means any person who provides transportation of property or passengers by commercial motor vehicle, as defined in 49 C. See Wisconsin Statutes 194.01
- State: when applied to states of the United States, includes the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the several territories organized by Congress. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
Section 345.09 applies to any common, contract or private motor carrier that is a nonresident of this state.
