Whenever the commission finds that (1) any person is violating the provisions of sections 20-329o to 20-329bb, inclusive, (2) any person is conducting business as a real property securities dealer or issuer in an unsafe or injurious manner, (3) the further sale of real property securities by any person under the provisions of said sections would be unfair, unjust or inequitable, or (4) the method used by any person in the sale of real property securities would work a fraud upon the purchasers, the commission may order such person to desist and refrain from violating the provisions of said sections or from further sales of real property securities. Any person aggrieved by any order issued by the commission under this section may appeal under § 20-329aa.

Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 20-329u

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Commission: means the Connecticut Real Estate Commission appointed under the provisions of §. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-311
  • Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
  • Person: means any individual, partnership, association, limited liability company or corporation. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-311
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
