The Milk Regulation Board, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, shall adopt regulations to implement the provisions of § 22-203a, including, but not limited to, regulations for administering tests of bulk tank truck loads of milk or milk products to determine the presence of drug residues or other inhibitory substances, the recording of all test results and the reporting of test failures to the department. The commissioner may coordinate and provide educational materials or other information to producers regarding management programs to reduce the incidence of drug residues in milk including, but not limited to, the milk and dairy beef residue prevention program.
