- person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. b. The Director of the Division of Taxation in consultation with the State Treasurer shall promulgate such rules and regulations pursuant to the “Administrative Procedure Act,” P.L.1968, c.410 (C. 52:14B-1 et seq.) as are necessary to govern the administration of the project fund and room fund for the purposes of P.L.2001, c.221 (C. 5:12-173.9 et al.). In addition, the Director of the Division of Taxation and the Director of the Division of Revenue are authorized to prescribe forms and procedures and to require any person to provide any information necessary to enforce and administer the provisions of this act.
c. The amount necessary to provide for tax collection, administrative and enforcement costs incurred by the Division of Taxation and the Division of Revenue, to meet the requirements of P.L.2001, c.221 (C. 5:12-173.9 et al.) shall be annually appropriated from the project fund and the room fund, subject to the approval of the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting in the Department of the Treasury.
