Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “grower” means:
(2) a person, as part of a hemp research program conducted by a state educational institution (as defined by IC 21-7-13-32).

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- hemp: means the plant Cannabis sativa L. See Indiana Code 15-15-13-6
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
