- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.

- Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
- Witness: as used in this chapter , includes a person whose testimony is desired in any proceeding or investigation by a grand jury or in a criminal action, prosecution, or proceeding held by the prosecution or the defense. See Florida Statutes 942.01
