50-19-107. Required and permissible exhibit of test results. The report of the results of the test certified by the laboratory must be exhibited by the health care provider to the patient. Upon request of the patient, the report of the results of the test may be exhibited to the spouse of the patient, or if the patient is a minor, report of the results of the test may be exhibited to the minor’s parents or to the minor’s legal guardian.

Terms Used In Montana Code 50-19-107

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • Health care provider: means a licensed physician, a physician assistant, a registered nurse, an advanced practice registered nurse, a naturopathic physician, or a direct-entry midwife practicing within the scope of the provider's professional license. See Montana Code 50-19-101
