Under the Kansas Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

Any person convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 44-401 to 44-412, inclusive, and amendments thereto, shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor.
