(a) The Justice40 Oversight Committee is established. The Oversight Committee shall:
(1) make findings, conclusions, and recommendations

regarding environmental justice in this State and uses of federal funds provided to the State for environmental justice;

(2) submit an initial report delineating the

Oversight Committee’s findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the General Assembly no later than June 30, 2024; and

(3) after the initial report under paragraph (2),
|
submit an annual report delineating the Oversight Committee’s findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the General Assembly no later than June 30 of each year after 2023.

(b) After initial voting members have been appointed under Section 20, the Oversight Committee shall meet not less than twice each quarter after the effective date of this Act to carry out its duties under this Act.
