- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
The Commission may set apart any part of the District as a park, except those areas owned, operated, or used for purposes authorized under this Act by organizations or institutions engaged in the delivery or conduct of health care services, education, or research, and may construct, control, and maintain the same or may provide by contract with the Springfield Park District or the City of Springfield for the construction, control, and maintenance of any area within the District set apart as a park.
