Terms Used In Texas Water Code 62.105
- Commission: means the navigation and canal commission. See Texas Water Code 62.001
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The commission may by gift, grant, purchase, or condemnation acquire the necessary right-of-way and property of any kind for all necessary improvements contemplated by this chapter.
