Terms Used In Texas Water Code 62.152
- District: means a navigation district operating under the provisions of Article XVI, § 59, of the Texas Constitution. See Texas Water Code 62.001
The district may draw warrants or issue checks:
(1) to pay for services;
(2) to pay the compensation of employees; and
(3) to pay all expenses incident to operation of the district.
