Terms Used In Texas Agriculture Code 71.055
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture. See Texas Agriculture Code 1.003
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Rule: includes regulation. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The department may revoke a certificate issued under this subchapter if it finds that the person to whom the certificate was issued:
(1) made a false representation; or
(2) violated or refused to comply with this subchapter or a rule or instruction of the department under this subchapter.
