- Municipality: means a general-law municipality, home-rule municipality, or special-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
The governing body of the municipality after notice and hearing may remove a director appointed by the municipality for misconduct or failure to carry out the director’s duties on petition by a majority of the remaining directors.
