- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The attorney general shall defend an action brought against the board or the department or an action brought against an employee of the department as a result of the employee’s official act or omission, regardless of whether at the time of the institution of the action that person has terminated service with the department.
