Terms Used In Texas Tax Code 42.22
- Appraisal: A determination of property value.
- Comptroller: means the Comptroller of Public Accounts of the State of Texas. See Texas Tax Code 1.04
- Venue: The geographical location in which a case is tried.
Venue is in the county in which the appraisal review board that issued the order appealed is located, except as provided by § 42.221. Venue is in Travis County if the order appealed was issued by the comptroller.
