- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The department, in accordance with Section 51.252, shall provide reasonable assistance to a person who wishes to file a complaint with the department regarding a person or activity regulated under this chapter.
