(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b) of this section, § 154.073, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, applies to mediation under this subchapter.
(b) If § 154.073, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, conflicts with another legal requirement for disclosure of communications or materials, the issue of confidentiality may be presented to the board to determine, in camera, whether the facts, circumstances, and context of the communications or materials sought to be disclosed warrant a protective order of the board or whether the communications or materials are subject to disclosure.

(c) This subchapter controls over any other law relating to or requiring mediation between or among license holders.
