A guardian, conservator, personal representative or administrator of an estate who has qualified under the laws of this state and as such is entitled to possession of the lands belonging to the estate which he represents, and a person designated in writing by the board of directors of a corporation, may sign the petition provided by section 48-1721 or 48-1722.

Terms Used In Arizona Laws 48-1725

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • Person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association or society, as well as a natural person. See Arizona Laws 1-215
