Sec. 5. The center shall establish an information file on all state agency permit requirements that affect business activities in Indiana. The center shall:
(2) use the information file to provide comprehensive information concerning permit requirements affecting business activities; and
(1) develop methods for maintaining, updating, and providing ready access to the information file;

- center: refers to the permit assistance center established by section 4 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 5-28-13-1
- permit: means any state agency permit, license, certificate, approval, registration, or similar form of approval required by a statute or an administrative rule. See Indiana Code 5-28-13-2
- state agency: has the meaning set forth in IC 4-13-1-1. See Indiana Code 5-28-13-3
(3) use the information file to provide the Indiana archives and records administration with information that will enable the administration to consolidate, simplify, expedite, or otherwise improve permit procedures.
