Sec. 15. A member or an employee of a river commission may do the following:
(2) Take evidence.
(1) Conduct a hearing or an investigation.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 14-29-7-15
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- river: means that part of a body of flowing water and adjacent land that is the subject of a river commission established under this chapter. See Indiana Code 14-29-7-2
(3) Report the evidence to the river commission for consideration and action.
