Charter Schools

A charter school is a school which receives public funding but operates independently. It is a public school, free to attend, but is publicly funded and accountable to public bodies for its results. It does not enroll students solely based on where they live, and it is privately managed. If the goals in the charter are not reached, the school chould be closed.
